Student privacy, plainly. Student passwords are hashed inside the database and never travel to any browser — not even yours. Automated scores measure pitch, timing and coverage only; they're evidence for your judgement, not the grade itself.

MusicXML (.musicxml / .xml), compressed MusicXML (.mxl), MIDI — or a PDF / photo of the part, which is read into notes once, here, so students get a playable score. Give each piece the name your students know it by — that’s the title they’ll see.

Students sign in on the student page — from any device — with your class code —, their username, and the password you set. Passwords are hashed in the database; you can't read them back, but you can set a new one from the roster.
