Privacy & Ethics
Your music stays yours.
OrchestraAI is built for responsible practice, teacher-led learning, and respect for composers, publishers, musicians, and live performance.
Data Protection
At OrchestraAI, privacy is part of the practice experience. Uploaded scores are private by default, class libraries stay teacher-controlled, and public sharing requires permission. We do not sell personal information. Student practice activity, uploaded materials, account information, and progress data are used only to support music learning, instruction, and practice — not unrelated marketing or resale. We aim to give users clear control over their account, uploaded files, practice data, and privacy choices.
Copyright & Upload Policy
Users may upload music to OrchestraAI only if they own the rights, have permission, have a valid license, or are using music that is legally available for their intended use. Uploading copyrighted sheet music, parts, arrangements, or files without proper authorization is not permitted. OrchestraAI is a practice tool; it does not grant users copyright ownership, performance rights, distribution rights, mechanical rights, synchronization rights, or any other license to music they do not already have.
AI Training
OrchestraAI will not use user-uploaded copyrighted music, student recordings, or private practice materials to train general-purpose AI models without permission. Any use of uploaded content for product improvement, model improvement, troubleshooting, or analytics is limited and privacy-conscious.
Music Integrity & AI Ethics
OrchestraAI respects the tradition, discipline, and human expression behind ensemble music. It is not built to replace musicianship. AI feedback should be treated as a practice aid, not a final musical authority. Human teachers, conductors, coaches, and performers remain central to musical development. We believe AI should deepen preparation, listening, interpretation, and collaboration — not flatten music into automation.
