Virtual Ensemble Mixer
Every instrument in the score gets its own channel. Mute your own part and play it yourself, solo the line you keep losing, or rebalance the whole ensemble.
Features
Below is what OrchestraAI does right now, in your browser, with nothing to install. You can try every one of these in the live demo.

Every instrument in the score gets its own channel. Mute your own part and play it yourself, solo the line you keep losing, or rebalance the whole ensemble.
Parts are grouped automatically into woodwinds, brass, percussion, keyboards, strings and voice. Mute or solo a whole section in one click, or open it up and work instrument by instrument.
Real engraved notation with a playhead that tracks the music as it plays, and scrolls to keep your place. Click any bar to jump straight there.
Take a passage at 50%, 75% or 90% and bring it back up as it locks in. Every instrument keeps its true pitch at any speed — nothing is stretched or shifted.
Accented downbeats that stay correct when you slow down, an optional count-in before you play, and an independent tempo if you want the click to differ from the score.
Mark the start and end of the hard bit and let it repeat while you work it out.
Seek by measure straight from the score or the transport. No scrubbing to find your entrance.
Your faders, mutes, solos, tempo and loop are remembered per piece, so you pick up where you left off.
Set a passage and a number of reps, and let it cycle while you play it through.
Space to play, arrows to move by bar, L to loop, M for the metronome. Hands stay on the instrument.
Bring in a score as MusicXML, compressed MXL, or MIDI. Instruments are identified and seated automatically.
A countdown to every entrance after a long rest, and a jump list that lands you a bar early so you hear the lead-in.
One-click balances: my part only, my section without me, accompaniment only, and more.
Natural, Ensemble, Patient Teacher, Strict Conductor, Romantic, Chamber — how the ensemble plays, not what it plays.
The bars of your part that look most demanding, found automatically and offered as one-click practice loops.
A ladder from a slow start to your target tempo, climbing a step every few clean repetitions of the loop.
Upload your class’s music, create student logins, assign homework, quizzes and tests with per-instrument bars and retake limits — and watch every student’s scores arrive in your gradebook, live.
In development
We would rather tell you plainly what is coming than let a feature list imply it already exists. These are in progress and are not part of the demo.
Conversational feedback on a session — what improved and where to spend the next twenty minutes. (Automated practice scores for recorded takes are already in the app.)
Ask about chords, keys, form, and the role your line plays inside the texture.
Assign parts, set goals, and track preparation across a whole ensemble.
See which sections are prepared and which bars need rehearsal time before the next class.
Turn a scanned part or a photo of sheet music into a playable score.
An accompanist that listens as you play and follows your tempo, breathing with your phrasing in real time.
A dedicated rendering engine with a fuller sample library, for a more realistic ensemble sound.
The Practice Room opens with a demo score already loaded. No sign-up, no upload, nothing to install.
